A bit more progress on Ogres

Well, my Ogre Kingdoms army is slowly but surely getting built/ painted, as that's 11 models of an Ironguts unit built (the 12th model will be a Tyrant with a big mace!), a few Leadbelchers and part of a general Ogres unit that is to be led by Bragg Gutsman. Today, I got myself a couple of the modular movement tray boxes, as I'll need them for the several units that will form the army.

So, here are some pictures:

Some Ogres!

Well, I'm slowly but surely getting the hang of getting Warhammer Ogres built, as my plan to return to Warhammer Fantasy (and sticking with it this time!). I have a few models from the main infantry units built but here are a couple of pictures showing the first ones that I built/ painted, in the form of two Ogres and one Leadbelcher. Since the pictures were taken, however, I've finished a few more Ogres - namely taken some partially painted models and finished the job off - images of these will come in later weeks.
Project Ogres is taking some time, as quite a few of the models have to be stripped/ disassembled before I can re-paint/ re-build them. I am, however, making progress and I have a fair idea of what on earth I am doing - that's what counts.
Finally, here's a couple of pictures.

Green Fire Dragon

Well, I am slowly and gradually working my way into getting my Eldar models built/ painted and I decided to do up a Fire Dragon model in a different colour scheme to the usual red/ orange/ yellow fiery colours, as I thought 'Well, you can have green dragons, can't you?'.
What I did was to paint the model by starting off with black undercoat, with Caliban green as the base colour, followed by drybrushing with warpstone glow and using a lighter green (moot green) for the helmet. The gun was painted black and other bits were done as red.

So, here we are!

The other project I have definitely started is working on the beginnings of my Ogre Kingdoms army, as I've just picked up a few units and characters - this could take a while, as I'm having to strip the paint off the models, followed by painting/ re-building them.
